VIDAL (Frederico Gavazzo Perry). UMA NOVA Lição da 'Viagem por Terra' de António Tenreiro. Lisboa. 1938. - VIDAL (Frederico Gavazzo Perry) UMA NOVA Lição da 'Viagem por Terra' de António Tenreiro . Lisboa: [Primeiro Congresso da Expansão Portuguesa no Mundo], 1938. 24 pp.; 255 mm. This is a separate excerpt from a paper presented at the First Congress on the History of Portuguese Expansion in the World, held in Lisbon in 1937, the general proceedings of which were published in 1938 under the auspices of the Ministry of Colonies. In this paper, Frederico Gavazzo Perry Vidal presents a revised critical reading of António Tenreiro's account of the Overland Journey , one of the earliest known itineraries of the land route between India and Portugal via the Persian Gulf, and therefore a relevant source for the history of Portuguese expansion in the East. ⚑ Auto-translated via Google Translate
