Lisboa: Typographia Universal, 1875. 40 pp.; 150 mm. A biographical account dedicated to Pedro Álvares Cabral, captain-major of the fleet that, in 1500, reached the coast of Brazil, continuing its voyage to India. Published in the 19th century, the work seeks to clarify aspects of the navigator's life and achievements, correcting errors and inaccuracies transmitted by previous historians. Inocêncio highlights the rigor with which the author rectified some of this information. An interesting booklet for the historiography of the Discoveries and, particularly, for the history of the discovery of Brazil. ⚑ Auto-translated via Google Translate
