PEDROSO (Z. Consiglieri). CATALOGO Bibliographico das Publicações Relativas aos Descobrimentos Portugueses. Lisboa. 1912. - PEDROSO (Z. Consiglieri) CATALOGO Bibliographico das Publicações Relativas aos Descobrimentos Portugueses . Lisboa: Imprensa Nacional, Academia das Sciencias de Lisboa, 1912. XII, 134 pp.; 230 mm. First edition, published posthumously by the Lisbon Academy of Sciences. Bibliographical repertory of publications relating to the Portuguese Discoveries, bringing together printed works, both Portuguese and foreign, on navigation, voyages of exploration and overseas expansion, and the figures who played a leading role in them. One of the first specialized catalogs dedicated to the subject, produced during a time of renewed interest in the history of expansion, following the centenary celebrations of Vasco da Gama's voyage. It remains useful as a research tool and as a testament to the state of studies on the Discoveries at the beginning of the 20th century. Unusual and highly valued. ⚑ Auto-translated via Google Translate
