The piece is constructed from a light-coloured wood with a prominent, open grain and a natural finish, likely oak or ash. The upper section features four fixed-height open shelves and is topped with a simple moulded cornice. The lower base cabinet comprises a double-door cupboard set on a plain plinth base. The cupboard doors are fitted with two simple turned wooden pull knobs and external brass-toned butt hinges., with the upper shelving unit designed to sit upon the base cabinet for ease of transport.
