The base is marked ”First Issue / Erste Ausgabe” and ”Special Event,” dated 1993, with a handwritten ”Goebel 10/93” mark. The figurine comes complete with its original manufacturer's box, ” a paper certificate confirming its authenticity as a handcrafted and handpainted M.I. Hummel collectible, and a ”M.J.
