Vintage P & A Risdon Blue Pressed Glass Kerosene Oil Lamp, Octagonal Reservoir, Embossed Floral Base - A Vintage P & A Risdon Blue Pressed Glass Kerosene Oil Lamp. This antique-style lamp features a translucent light blue or lavender hue, with an octagonal fuel reservoir adorned with a textured, possibly ”hobnail” or ”crackle” glass pattern. The reservoir transitions to a smooth, flared stem, which connects to a round base. The base is decorated with a raised, embossed floral or scrollwork design, consistent with patterns such as the ”Wedding Scroll” often seen on P & A Risdon lamps. A brass burner assembly sits atop the reservoir, complete with a visible cotton wick and four prongs designed for holding a glass chimney, which is currently absent.
