2021-P Washington Quarter – Reverse Crown Die Chip Error - 2021-P Washington Quarter – Reverse Crown Die Chip Error - The “Reverse Crown” (also called “Crown Die Chip”) error on the 2021-P Washington / Crossing the Delaware quarter is typically found on the reverse, on Washington’s hat (crown area). Here are some more details:  The error appears as a raised blob or lump on or around the top back corner of Washington’s hat.  In “full crown” varieties, the raised area (die chip) extends over the nearby letters “E PLURIBUS UNUM” (on the reverse) near the hat.  Some examples also show secondary die chips on the A in “DELAWARE” (on the reverse) — two small raised blobs flanking the “A.” PLEASE USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT!      Condition IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING COIN GRADES & SHIPPING: Please be aware that any coin grades listed on packaging or in the lot titles are not guaranteed, unless the coin has been graded by a reputable Certified Grading Company, such as NGC, PCGS & ANACS. We strongly encourage all bidders to educate themselves about the difference between legitimate and non-legitimate grading services. In many cases, sellers or previous owners may offer their own opinions on a coin’s condition, which may not be accurate. We do not mark or alter coin packages, and we make no guarantees regarding grading or condition. Please Note: Most raw (ungraded) coins may have been cleaned at some point during their lifetime—this is quite common. We do not accept returns on coins based on condition, grade, or cleaning (including harsh cleaning). BIDDING TERMS: By placing a bid, you are entering into a legally binding contract.
