Collection of Naval, Maritime, and Space Event Covers - This lot includes a group of commemorative and event covers related to naval, maritime, and space history. Among the items are U.S. Navy “Operation Deep Freeze” covers from the USS Burton Island AGB and USS Southwind, Grace Line passenger ship covers postmarked 1932, a U.S. Coast Guard commissioning cover for the USCGC Reliance, and other naval postmarks. The lot also includes a commemorative Apollo XVII moon landing cover dated December 11, 1972. Covers are mounted on album pages.
