Two Full Sheets of U.S. Postage Stamps – 1937 1¢ Mount Vernon (Scott #806) and 1965 6¢ Bald Eagle Airmail (Scott #C72) - This lot contains two complete sheets of U.S. postage stamps. The first is a full sheet of the 1¢ Mount Vernon issue from the 1938 Presidential Series, depicting George Washington’s home (Scott #806), plate number 25369. The second is a full sheet of the 6¢ Bald Eagle airmail stamp issued in 1965 (Scott #C72), plate number 28912. Both sheets retain full selvage with plate numbers visible.
