Themes represented include World Trade (30¢), World Communications (30¢), Human Rights Year (13¢), Peace/Flight design (15¢), NATO 25th Anniversary (18¢), New International Airmail Rates (1974 18¢ and 1976 22¢), Olympic Games 1984 (30¢), Landsat Satellite (36¢), Hot Air Ballooning (15¢), Aerogramme 1978 (22¢), and memorial issues for John F. Kennedy (11¢ and 13¢). Each item is postmarked on the official first day of issue and features either printed or cacheted designs corresponding to the subject.
