Collection of U.S. First Day Covers – Postal Rates, Nonprofit, and Americana Issues - This lot contains a group of U.S. First Day Covers spanning postal rate changes, nonprofit organization issues, and commemoratives from the late 1970s–1980s. Subjects include postal service issues such as domestic and airmail rate changes, precanceled stamps, and nonprofit authorization. Also featured are covers with themes of American history and heritage, including bicentennial-era issues, industry and labor, and transportation (such as historic vehicles and tools). Each cover has a printed cachet and matching First Day of Issue postmark. Non-paying bidders will be permanently added to our No-Bid List. SHIPPING INFORMATION: Once your shipping label is generated, you will receive a tracking number from UPS or Stamps.com. Shipping cost is based on destination, size and weight of the package and calculated using the most cost-effective method within the USA. All packages will be insured at the cost of the buyer.
