Collection of U.S. and United Nations Aerogramme and Postal Stationery First Day Covers - This lot includes a selection of U.S. and United Nations aerogramme and postal stationery First Day Covers issued between the 1970s and 1980s. The U.S. issues include 22¢ and 30¢ aerogrammes such as “Tour the United States,” a 36¢ satellite/space aerogramme, and a 30¢ Olympic Games aerogramme. United Nations issues feature various aerogrammes and postal stationery items denominated in cents, including designs for communication, world themes, and commemorative UN issues. Each piece bears printed cachets and First Day of Issue cancellations from either U.S. or United Nations postal authorities.
