Assorted U.S. Postal Stationery and First Day Covers (1980s–1990s) - This lot contains a group of U.S. postal stationery and First Day Covers from the 1980s–1990s. Included are issues commemorating the Purple Heart, the Capitol Building, small business, Olympic Games, America’s Cup, and sled dog races. Several change-of-rate envelopes are present, including “Postage B,” “Postage C,” and other rate-adjustment issues. Additional designs highlight themes such as energy conservation, honeybees, veterinary medicine, and the Disabled Veterans issue. Most items are printed stamped envelopes with matching cachets and official First Day of Issue cancellations.
