U.S. First Day Covers – Stamped Envelopes (1970s–1980s) - This lot consists of U.S. First Day Covers featuring stamped envelopes issued between the 1970s and 1980s. Subjects include Golf, Auto Racing, Uncle Sam recruitment, Conservation and Energy, Development, and The Discovery of America. Several nonprofit postal stationery issues are represented, such as “Happiness is Children,” “Happiness is Knowledge,” and other denominated nonprofit envelopes. Also included are change-of-rate stamped envelopes, along with various commemoratives such as Veterans and Bicentennial themes. Each envelope bears an official First Day of Issue cancellation. Non-paying bidders will be permanently added to our No-Bid List. SHIPPING INFORMATION: Once your shipping label is generated, you will receive a tracking number from UPS or Stamps.com.
