U.S. First Day Covers – Embossed Stamped Envelopes (1968–1970s) - This lot contains U.S. First Day Covers featuring embossed stamped envelopes issued between 1968 and the 1970s. Subjects include the 6¢ Liberty design (1968), Bicentennial tributes to the American Farmer and Homemaker, the Whaling Industry, and Independence Hall. Additional envelopes commemorate national and international events such as Transpo 72, Tennis Centennial 1974, the White House Conferences on Aging and Youth, and Bowling. Denominations range from 6¢ to 22¢, with examples of 8¢, 10¢, 13¢, and higher values. Each cover bears an official First Day of Issue cancellation.
