Included are Detroit covers dated February 4, 1977 for Lindbergh’s birth anniversary, multiple 1977 “Spirit over Florida” tour covers with Lindbergh Station postmarks, Capitol Cachet covers with March–April 1977 Commercial Aviation issues, and illustrated “Lindbergh Day” covers from Detroit. Additional items include a Cheyenne Aerophilately 1977 cachet, Swedish commemorative postmark, and Spirit of St. Louis Station anniversary covers from Oklahoma City and New York. The group also contains an earlier 1930 airmail Chamber of Commerce commemorative for Lindbergh’s transatlantic flight. Together the covers document the broad range of philatelic commemorations tied to Lindbergh from 1930 through 1977.
