German WWII M-38 Luftwaffe Fire Service Helmet - German Model 1938-style civic helmet finished in glossy black with a white painted circumferential band and Luftwaffe eagle decal on one side, with national tricolor shield on the opposite. Features dual ventilator domes and a full leather liner with original chin strap assembly. The chin strap buckle is marked “DRGM / M. L. Leder Fabrik, Berlin,” consistent with wartime production. CONDITION: Helmet shows moderate surface wear with scattered scuffs and minor losses to the painted band and decals. Leather liner remains intact with age darkening, and chin strap is complete but dry with expected stiffness. Retains an appealing, honest patina throughout.
