Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Mini Dagger Opener - Miniature desk letter opener modeled after a German officer’s dress dagger. Features a polished steel blade with ribbed ivory-toned celluloid grip, darkened alloy fittings with eagle motif, and matching textured scabbard fitted with twin suspension rings. Believed to be a mid-20th century decorative or souvenir reproduction based on the Luftwaffe Second Pattern dagger design. Overall length approximately 7¾ inches. CONDITION: Blade remains bright with light surface marks from handling. Grip and fittings show mild age toning consistent with display. Scabbard finish is intact with minor surface wear.
