U.S. Model 1892/1898 Krag–Jørgensen Bayonet - U.S. Model 1892/1898 Krag–Jørgensen bayonet with 1899 date stamp. Ricasso marked “U.S.” on one side and “1899” on the reverse. Features an 11¾-inch fullered blade, straight crossguard with muzzle ring, and two-piece walnut grips secured by steel rivets. Rounded steel pommel with functional release catch. Overall length approximately 16¼ inches. CONDITION: Blade shows scattered light oxidation, dark spotting, and mild edge wear. Grips display handling marks and an aged patina. Pommel and crossguard exhibit finish loss and surface roughness consistent with age.
