German Fireman’s Dress Bayonet (Short Model) - German WWII Fireman’s (Feuerwehr) short dress bayonet. Features a 7?” bright nickel-plated blade with single fuller, plated hilt with hooked quillon and checkered black Bakelite grips secured by rivets, and smooth pommel without rifle lug. Retains original red felt insert in grip slot. Overall length 12½ inches. CONDITION: Blade shows bright polish with scattered runner marks and light oxidation near the ricasso and tip. Hilt exhibits flaking and speckled loss to plating with light patina. Grips are tight and undamaged. Red felt insert remains intact with minor fading.
