Staffordshire “Hen-on-Nest” Tureen c. Mid 18th C. - Hand-painted bisque ceramic hen-on-nest covered dish featuring a basket-shaped base and a detailed hen lid with vibrant accents. Unmarked base, likely Staffordshire Mid-19th Century English made. The piece includes subtle green and yellow shading with textured detailing along the feathers and basket weave design. Approx. 10” wide and 9” tall. CONDITION: Shows light wear and minor glaze imperfections. Hairline cracks visible inside the base, but no evident structural instability.
