Staffordshire Hen-on-Nest Tureen, c. 1891-1900 - Staffordshire Hen-on-Nest Tureen, c. 1891-1900 chicken-themed ceramic covered dish marked 'England' on the base. Features hand-painted detailing in yellow, black, and green with a crackle glaze finish. The lid depicts a stylized chicken atop a woven basket motif base. CONDITION: Shows overall crazing typical of older ceramics. A hairline crack is visible inside the base, along with scattered surface wear consistent with age.
