Staffordshire Hen-on-Nest Tureen 19th Century - Staffordshire Hand-crafted ceramic hen-on-nest figurine featuring a glazed finish with pastel accents. Likely pre-1891 production. The basket base is modeled with woven detailing in yellow, while the hen features white glaze with painted black and orange highlights. No visible maker's marks. Approx. 10” wide. CONDITION: Shows age-related wear with areas of discoloration and minor glaze crazing throughout. Overall structural integrity appears intact.
