Pair of Antique China Head Dolls, 19th Century, Porcelain & Cloth - Lot includes two antique china head dolls: a 28-inch blonde china doll with porcelain shoulder head and cloth body, wearing a floral-patterned dress with lace details and black painted boots; and a 15.5-inch black-haired china doll with porcelain limbs, cloth body, and embroidered dress. Both are representative of late 19th-century European production, likely German in origin. CONDITION: Blonde doll shows neck repair and moderate fabric wear on dress. Black-haired doll displays fabric discoloration and minor staining. Porcelain parts on both dolls are intact with some age-related marks.
