U.S. M1860 Cavalry Saber D.J. Millard 1862 - Civil War U.S. Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber. 34” single fuller blade with patina and wear. Ricasso marked ”US / W.E.H. / 1862” for government acceptance. Opposite side stamped “D.J. Millard / Clayville, N.Y.” retailer mark. Brass three-branch guard with age patina. Wood grip core with remnants of original leather wrap and wire, leather now largely lost. No scabbard present. Blade oxidized; grip worn with loss of leather; hilt patinated. 40 1/2 inches overall. **DISPLAY NOT INCLUDED**
