Early Polearm / Boarding Pike Head - Probably European, late 17th–early 19th century Hand-forged iron and steel Compact forged polearm head of halberd or boarding-pike type, with central spear blade, hooked lateral beak, opposing spike, and pierced lug. Hand-forged socket with visible forge-weld seam and mandrel-formed interior. The blade retains evidence of hand-finished edges and age-consistent patina throughout. Likely intended for guard, militia, or naval boarding use. The asymmetrical form suggests regional or non-regulation manufacture. Dark oxidized surface with scattered wear; structurally sound; shaft absent. 15 x 9 1/2 inches, weighs 3 lbs 9 ozs.
