Guard is unit marked ”A.R. 8.27,” blade spine marked “W16” for 1916 manufacture, with “1920” reissue stamp. Includes steel scabbard marked “R.R. 6.129.” Both saber and scabbard show wear consistent with age and service, including patina, scuffs, and handling marks.
