Forged Halberd Head - Probably European or American, 19th century Forged iron and steel Light halberd-form polearm head with tapering spear point, crescent axe blade, and rear spike. Traditional forge-welded socket with visible lap seam and hand-finished interior. Likely ceremonial, militia, or guard use. Good antique condition with scattered oxidation, surface wear, and age patina; shaft absent. 15 x 8 3/4 inches, weighs approx. 1 lb 14 ozs
