Art Deco SS Normandie French Transatlantic Ocean Liner Framed Print - Framed advertising print of the SS Normandie ocean liner by ”Nascon Service Inc., New York.” The print shows the iconic transatlantic ship with three red and black smokestacks, sailing on a calm ocean, with a faint skyline in the background and most likely would have been used as a promotional tool for a travel agency. The ship's name ”NORMANDIE” is visible on both the bow and between the second and third smokestack as well as a metal plaque on the frame reading ”S.S. NORMANDIE French Line.” The print is framed in an Art Deco silver-painted wood frame measuring 18-3/4” x 32-1/4”. CONDITION: Not examined out of frame.
