Framed 1865 English Sampler by Esther Newton - North Yorkshire - Antique framed English embroidered sampler, featuring alphabet and number rows stitched in multiple colors, divided by geometric lines, along with decorative motifs such as crowns, hearts, and birds. The text is a passage is from the Book of Psalms in the Bible and also includes ”Esther Newton's Work Aged 10 Years 1865”. It is in a later dark oak frame measuring 15-5/8” x 11-3/4”, and includes further information on the back. CONDITION: Not examined out of frame.
