Victorian Ironstone Anchovy Paste Pot - Victorian-era Ironstone Anchovy Paste pot with lid, marked 'E.J.' on the base and featuring text on the lid reading 'ANCHOVY PASTE' and 'AN EXCELLENT RELISH FOR BREAKFAST LUNCHEON &c.' The pot has a crackled glaze finish and is likely associated with Burgess's Anchovy Paste, Staffordshire region of England, c.1885-1900s. Marked ER70 on the bottom of pot. Pot measures about 4” wide and 2” tall. CONDITION: Surface wear and minor scratches. Crack on the lid edge. Some discoloration on the interior. SHIPPING: In-house shipping available for this lot.
