DWM Luger P.08 9mm Pistol - DWM P.08 Luger semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, serial number 6555n, from the 1920s commercial production period. Undated chamber with DWM-monogrammed toggle, 4-inch barrel, toggle-lock action, fixed sights, manual safety, stock lug, lanyard loop, and checkered wood grips. Crown/N commercial proof marks and additional German inspection marks are present. Measures 8.75 inches overall. Includes one 8-round detachable magazine. CONDITION: Metal surfaces show substantial finish thinning, edge and high-point wear, scratches, handling marks, scattered oxidation, and areas of gray-brown patina, particularly across the frame and toggle assembly. Grips show flattened checkering, scratches, handling wear, and discoloration. Bore has light patina, with rifling worn from use. The action has a mechanical issue: rearward pressure on the barrel/receiver assembly causes it to move rearward and the toggle to rise; the exact cause is undetermined. Magazine shows finish loss, scratches, and wear.
