Nagoya Arsenal Type 14 Nambu Pistol w/1944 Holster - Japanese Nagoya Arsenal Type 14 Nambu semi-automatic military pistol chambered in 8x22mm Nambu, serial number 63584, manufactured January 1943. Measures 9 inches overall with a 4.75-inch barrel and fixed sights. Blued steel construction with enlarged trigger guard, grooved cocking knob, manual safety, serrated wood grip panels, and lanyard loop. Japanese Type 14 designation, arsenal and inspection markings, serial number, and Showa 18.1 date code are present. Includes an 8-round magazine photographed numbered 584, matching the final three digits of the pistol serial number, and a 1944-dated Japanese rubberized-canvas clamshell holster. CONDITION: Metal surfaces show finish thinning, edge and high-point wear, scattered scratches and handling marks, light oxidation, and patina. Wood grips show scratches and surface wear. Bore has patina with worn rifling present. Action feels tight. Magazine shows finish loss, scratches, oxidation, and age wear. Holster exhibits substantial surface wear, staining, scuffing, creasing, and wear and fraying at the edges, closure, stitching, and hardware.
