Antique Copper Preserving Pot & Perforated Basin - Large antique hammered copper preserving pot with matching domed lid and a separate perforated copper draining basin. The basin features heavy brass ring handles and is ideal for draining or lifting large quantities of fruit, vegetables, seafood, or pasta from the preserving pot. The pot has a hand-fitted lid with iron side tabs and a sturdy iron handle. Both pieces display an attractive aged copper patina with expected wear, oxidation, and use marks consistent with age.
