2 Vintage Chess Sets - Hand-Carved Wooden & Kingsw - Two vintage chess sets. Included is a large hand-carved wooden chess set featuring stylized figural pieces and a substantial storage chessboard with interior compartments. Also included is a 1960s Kingsway weighted chess set with gold- and silver-tone metal pieces housed in its original fitted presentation case lined in red fabric. The hand-carved wooden set displays attractive craftsmanship and makes an impressive display piece, while the Kingsway set features weighted pieces designed for tournament-style play and collecting. Wooden chess set: pieces approximately 3 1/2” to 6 1/2” tall; board 22” x 22”. Kingsway weighted set: pieces approximately 2 1/2” to 5” tall.
