Chinese Han Dynasty Bronze Equestrian Horseman & L - Two antique Chinese figures including a bronze equestrian sculpture depicting a mounted soldier in the Han Dynasty style and a painted terracotta court lady tomb figure. The bronze rider retains an attractive aged green patina with sculptural detail, while the pottery figure shows traces of its original painted decoration. Both display expected age-related wear, losses, and weathering consistent with archaeological examples. Bronze equestrian figure 10” tall; terracotta court lady 13” tall.
