Hand Carved Wooden Ethnographic Figures Demon Mask - Collection of hand carved wooden ethnographic figures and decorative carvings from various cultural traditions, including African, Asian, and Caribbean examples. The lot features two tall abstract standing figures, a seated child holding lotus flowers, a carved female bust with openwork headdress, a fisherman with net, several carved portrait busts, and a brightly painted hand carved Sri Lankan demon mask. Crafted from various hardwoods with natural and stained finishes, displaying a range of traditional and folk-art carving styles. Largest figure measures 17” tall; other figures range from approximately 8” to 17”. Mask measures 8” x 6 1/2”.
