Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos 528-8 Brass Mantel Clock - Vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos mantel clock, Swiss made, featuring the celebrated Caliber 528-8 movement housed in a gilt brass and beveled glass case with a white chapter ring, applied gilt Arabic numerals and baton hour markers, and an exposed precision movement. Powered by changes in atmospheric temperature and pressure rather than conventional winding, the Atmos is regarded as one of the finest mechanical clocks ever produced. This example dates to the 1970s and bears serial number 388880. The clock is in working condition and retains a clean, elegant presentation with light age-appropriate wear to the brass case and minor surface marks consistent with normal use.
