Vintage Historical Theme Chess Sets- Florentine & - Group of two vintage historical-theme chess sets. Included is a 1947 Kingsway Florentine chess set featuring red and ivory plastic pieces modeled after 11th-century figures and accompanied by The Royal Game of Chess booklet. Also included is a Napoleon Bonaparte-themed chess set with blue and ivory plastic figures representing military and historical characters. Both sets are housed in folding chess boards and display well. Kingsway Florentine set: pieces approximately 2 1/2” to 4” tall. Napoleon Bonaparte set: pieces approximately 3 1/2” to 5” tall.
