Vintage 1950s Bardahl ”Makes Cars Run Better” Sign - Vintage Bardahl ”Makes Cars Run Better” embossed tin advertising sign dating to the 1950s, featuring the iconic black BARDAHL logo against a bright yellow background with the well-known slogan below. Produced as a large single-sided service station display, the reverse shows the embossed mirror image typical of period-constructed tin signs. Displays attractive gloss and strong color with scattered scratches, light surface wear, several small areas of paint loss, and a few spots of oxidation consistent with age and use. A striking automotive advertising piece from one of the most recognized names in vintage motor oil and engine treatment memorabilia. Measures 48” x 23 1/2”.
