Antique Rock-Ola ”Loboy” Penny Coin-Operated Scale - Antique Rock-Ola ”Loboy” penny-operated personal weight scale featuring an attractive white and black porcelain enamel finish with classic Art Deco styling. Manufactured by the Rock-Ola Manufacturing Company of Chicago, this floor-standing scale was designed for use in drug stores, hotels, arcades, and other public establishments during the early to mid-20th century. The scale retains its original ”Loboy Personal Weight” badge, porcelain body, cast metal platform, and internal Rock-Ola mechanism with the original instruction panel affixed inside the rear access door. A desirable example of early American coin-operated equipment and advertising memorabilia. Displays well with age-appropriate wear including light scratches, scuffs, and minor finish loss consistent with decades of use. No key; locks have been removed.Measures 42” x 10” x 19”.
