The form is characteristic of the American Arts & Crafts movement, with a broad overhanging top, straight square legs, open slat sides, lower bookshelf and a full-width dovetailed drawer. Decorative exposed joinery and distinctive square wooden pulls complement the restrained Mission design. The table retains its original metal maker's label reading ”Quaint Furniture - Stickley Bros.
