Antq 19thC British Sword Cane -Carved Bone Handle - Antique 19th-century British sword cane featuring a carved bone L-form handle decorated with a finely rendered strap-and-buckle motif. The handle is joined to the wood shaft by an engraved metal collar. Concealed within the cane is an 11” steel blade with etched foliate decoration extending along much of its length. The shaft is further accented with metal fittings. A distinctive example of a Victorian-era gentleman's concealed sword cane. Please Note: Lower section of the shaft was missing and has been professionally reproduced. Condition consistent with age, including surface wear, patina and oxidation to the blade and fittings. Blade 11” long; 39 1/2” overall.
