Collection of Vintage LIFE Magazines - 1930s - Collection of vintage LIFE magazines, primarily dating from the late 1930s with several issues from 1940 and a later 1960 issue. The assortment features the magazine's iconic photographic covers documenting American life, Hollywood, sports, military history, international affairs, fashion and popular culture of the era. Notable covers include Errol Flynn, Rosalind Russell, military and aviation subjects, Japanese military figures, the Queen Mary, Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge, sports imagery and numerous striking examples of early LIFE photojournalism. Dates visible range from 1937 through 1940, with a November 21, 1960 John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy cover also included. Many issues are individually protected in clear sleeves.
