WWII LUFTWAFFE STANDARD BEARER'S GORGET
Rare German WWII Luftwaffe regimental standard flag bearers gorget and neck chain. Measures approximately 6.75 x 4 in., the steel chain is approximately 24 inches long. The front shows a fine detailed, flying Luftwaffe eagle clutching a wreath with a mobile swastika in the center. There are three Regimental flags on either side of the wreath. The reverse side is maker marked ‘C. E. Junker Berlin’ on the center flat vertical prong backed in blue/gray wool. The front shows a small scratch to the right. Very good condition.
