HANS TRAUT
(1895-1974) German general during World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. Fought on the Eastern front and in 1947 he was convicted as a war criminal in the Soviet Union and sentenced to 25 years of forced labor. Signed black-and-white photograph as Oberleutnant, 2.75 x 3.75 inches.
