Charles Mazelin – Original Signed Etching: “La Grande Porte, St. Malo” - Original etching on paper | Hand-signed | Framed under glass | Frame size: 27.5×33 cm A beautifully detailed etching by French artist Charles Mazelin (1882–1964), depicting the fortified gate of St. Malo (“La Grande Porte”) with a sailboat gracefully anchored in the foreground. Known for his exquisite draftsmanship and architectural subjects, Mazelin was a Prix de Rome laureate and a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts. Signed in pencil and presented in a classic gilt frame with linen matting. Artwork in very good condition. Some water stains on lower mat/frame (see photos).
