Rare 18th-Century Armorial Bookplate of Count Ladislaus Kollonitz, Bishop of Várad (Nagyvárad / Oradea) - A rare and early armorial ex-libris bookplate belonging to Count Ladislaus Kollonitz (Graf Ladislaus Kollonitz), Bishop of Várad (today Oradea, Romania), a Catholic ecclesiastical figure and nobleman. The coat of arms is finely engraved, surmounted by a bishop’s hat with tassels and adorned with ecclesiastical heraldry. Below, a Latin inscription reads: “Ex libris Judist. Com. a Kol. Ionitz Episc. in. Varad.” referring to his title and library. A beautiful and historic item of bibliophilic and ecclesiastical interest, likely printed in the 18th century. Some light foxing and small stains. Sheet size approx. 7×8 cm.
