Bina Le’itim – Sermons by Rabbi Azariah Figo, Warsaw 1901 – With Ownership Stamp - Rare edition of Bina Le’itim, a celebrated homiletic work in two parts by Rabbi Azariah Figo, one of the leading Italian preachers of the 17th century. This edition was printed in Warsaw, 1901 (תרס”ב), by the Lewin-Epstein brothers, in a handsome folio format. The book contains profound sermons on the Torah, holidays, and sayings of the Sages, written in an eloquent and philosophical style. Rabbi Figo is considered a pioneer in integrating personal and philosophical insights into public sermons, influencing the Italian and Sephardic homiletic tradition. This copy bears a beautiful ownership stamp in French from North Africa: “Salomon fils d’Israël Halimi, instituteur, Constantine”, alongside the handwritten inscription “שלום חלימי”. Dimensions: approx. 15x23 cm. Condition: Very good for its age – original worn binding, minor edge wear, clean inner pages with sharp typography.
