The book contains sermons and Torah commentaries on the Five Books of Moses, authored by Rabbi Avraham Halimi, and published posthumously by his son, Rabbi Peraj Halimi. The introduction features a list of donors and community members from various North African cities including Tunis, Sétif, La Goulette (Lefitcha), Kneshla, and Algiers – a valuable glimpse into the Jewish communal structure of the time. This copy includes early ownership stamps. Internal pages are well-preserved, but the original binding is detached – a key note for restoration consideration.
